We want your experience with our candles to be wonderful, but it’s important to keep in mind that candles must never be left unsupervised. For safe use from the first burn to the last, please consult our safety guidelines.

Candle Use Tips:

1. Before lighting a candle, make sure it is free of packaging and any additional decorations.

2. To prevent “tunneling,” allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container.

3. Avoid burning a candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

4. Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting to prevent smoke and excessive heat in the container.

5. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

6. Place the candle on a stable surface, away from flammable objects, before lighting.

7. Do not burn candles in a draft or breeze.

8. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

9. Be careful, as the candle container can become hot during burning.

Safe Candle Extinguishing:

1. It is best to use special candle snuffers designed to extinguish candles. It is not recommended to blow out the candle flame.

2. Never extinguish a candle with water or other liquids.
